    About the Affiliate
    Novo Nordisk Middle Africa, which East and Southern Africa (ESA) region is affiliated to, was formed in early 2012. Novo Nordisk has an established presence with human insulin in Africa and our focus today is to sustain the growth of the market, ensure availability of better quality modern insulin within the markets and support the communities living with diabetes.

    The job
    People & Organization Manager (P&O) for ESA is based out of Kenya and reports to P&O Manager in Dubai. The individual performer role oversees all HR activities for East and Southern Africa region. The position is a member of Management Team of ESA. As P&O Manager, your primary role is to drive the employee life cycle, oversee the operational/administrative activities of the HR function, to ensure implementation of corporate and HR strategies and to ensure that company culture and values are an integrated part of all activities. Key responsibilities are to secure Talent Attraction, maintain a solid Total Rewards and Performance Management and have a strong Talent Management in line with individual and company needs. Furthermore, you are expected to drive a high performance culture and safeguard a positive and engaging working environment shaped with Novo Nordisk Way.

    Qualifications
    You hold a relevant BSc degree (e.g. in Business Administration, Employee Relations, etc.). You have minimum 5 years of HR generalist experience with a profound knowledge of labour relations. Previous experience with Southern Africa countries is a valuable asset.

    You demonstrate ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input. You are problem-solving, result-oriented, and multi-tasking. You can work easily under pressure. You are flexible to work with different origins and cultures in difficult and changing environments. You are required to travel extensively within East and Southern Africa and occasionally to Dubai.
