Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

​The positions offer the opportunity to:

•  Develop your technical geotechnical engineering skills
•  Work with a wide range of experienced and highly qualified engineers and industry experts
•  Develop fieldwork supervision of drilling and footing inspections
•  Undertake geotechnical analyses in areas such as slope stability, pavement designs, foundations  and retaining walls. Numerical modelling capability would be an advantage.
•  Participate in the delivery of projects, ensuring work outputs are of a high technical standard 
•  Undertake project management under supervision
•  Undertake analysis of data to develop and implement practical and commercial solutions
•  Undertake drafting and design work  in relation to specific projects
•  Work with a variety of experienced and professional Engineers/ Scientists in a collaborative team environment

Other Requirements

​The key attributes essential for success in this position include:

•  Tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering  with completion of geotechnical electives and/or major as part of your university studies
•  A post graduate qualification would be an advantage
•  A demonstrated passion for working in the geotechnical engineering discipline
•  Good report writing with excellent communication skills
•  Adept to working within a team environment through well-developed interpersonal skills
•  A positive person with a proactive attitude
•  Keen to get involved and learn from others including other disciplines, whilst also contributing to a vibrant team
