Cosmetics Europe, the Brussels based European trade association of the cosmetic industry currently represents 27 national associations and 18 international companies.
It covers a wide range of regulatory issues impacting the cosmetic industry.

Public Affairs Internship
(6 months – as part of final studies)
Main task:
- Contributes to all tasks within the Public Affairs department (Monitoring, reporting on relevant developments within the European Institutions,…)
Profile:
- Fluent English and willing to work in a dynamic international association
- Advanced in academic studies in a relevant discipline;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Interest in the European legislation related to the cosmetics industry;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good organisation skills, flexibility, ability to work independently as well as in team
- Strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure, strong analytical skills
Important – Conditions
Belgian legislation does not permit internships to be paid. However a monthly refund of expenses is foreseen.
The internship can only be considered in the context of studies and a Convention de Stage (a tripartite agreement signed by the employer, the intern and his/her university or college). Prospective interns must imperatively fulfil this requirement to apply.
