Professional Development Manager at University of Leeds
The University of Leeds has a new strategy for sport which articulates our aim of becoming the leading provider of University sport in the UK. Through this strategy we are committed to ensuring we provide opportunities for our students to fulfil their sporting potential and understand the wider personal development that they can gain through engagement within sport. This exciting new role will lead the development, delivery and management of opportunities that will add-value to a students' time at the University of Leeds. Responsible to the Sports Development Manager your key areas of work will include our provision of academic modules, student leadership development, volunteering, community engagement and coach education.
You will have significant experience working in a Sports Development Sector or Higher Education environment, with proven supervisory experience. You will have experience of teaching in a higher education environment, managing projects and events, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build and develop effective working relationships both internally and externally. 
The role is full time, however the hours of duty will vary across weeks and term time; some flexibility is required.
