The bank now wishes to recruit qualified and highly motivated Senior Manager for its Alternate Delivery Channel Department (ADC).

Position:           Senior Manager - ADC
Reporting to:   Head - ADC
Location:          Dar Es Salaam

PURPOSE OF JOB

Managing sales of alternate delivery channel products for the bank

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1.       RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Gather market intelligence and product understanding
·         Developing and rolling out of new products in coordination with stakeholders
·          Analyze the impact of channel cost for each product and customer segment
·         Conduct research to attract new to bank customers and retain existing customers
·         Develop alternative delivery channels for services to reduce cost and increase retail bank market share
·         Develops profitability models for each delivery channel and preparation periodic profit and loss estimates
·         Ensure security and compliance requirements are built in every delivery channel in liaison with information security and IT to minimize fraud
·         Ensure the activities for the various channels abide by the bank's overall service quality standards
·         Oversee all ongoing projects to ensure effective implementation in a timely and cost effective manner
·         Preparing the department budget and monitoring the financial performance to identify areas requiring improvement

 2.  FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Authorize GL entries in the core system within the limits
·         Approve reversal of service charges for credit cards

2.1   INDEPENDENT DECISIONS:
·            Authorize debit and credit card applications
·            Conduct  performance appraisal of  the cards department team members

2.2   INTERACTION WITH OTHERS:
·                  Internal: Regular contact with Corporate and Branch staff
·                  External:  Regular contact with external vendors and customers


       3.   OTHER:
·            Carry out work in accordance with the banks procedures
·            Perform the assigned tasks with due diligence
·            Eliminate waste of whatever form, suggest the use of new practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the bank

 4.   QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·            Graduate in Finance / Accounts; Masters degree in relevant field will be an added  advantage
·                           Excellent managerial skills
·                           Good interpersonal skills
·                           Minimum 10 years relevant experience
·                           Computer literate
·                           Good operational skills

5.    QUALITIES:
·                        Hard working and committed individual
·                        Good team player
