JOYI Electronics and General Supplies, (JOYI®) is the business proprietorship company in Tanzania contributing to address IT challenges from individual level to multinational/corporate customers. JOYI® works with the variety of customers in improving the lives of people to curb the ICT needs from system Design, Development, Supply and Management.
JOYI®Electronics and General Supplies opened its new branch in Geita region and want to recruit staff to fill the following positions.
1. IT Cum Sales Assistant ( 1 )
This position reports to the "Business Manager".
Duties and Responsibilities
• Under the technical supervision of the Business Manager, the IT Cum Sales Assistant will provide the technical direction to customers who purchase the products from our office.
• Update the company website
• Will participate actively in sales activities, promotions, and install the operating systems to computers/any devices using his/her own capabilities to all devices sold to customers.
• Participate in strategic negotiation with the corporate customers on project issues, supplies on behalf of "Business Manager".
• The IT Cum Sales Assistant is responsible for the timely submission of weekly business reports; update the straight book software for any sales, invoices, etc.
• Make sure the company is compliant to TRA, Zimamoto, Licences according to government of Tanzania laws and its regulations.
Required Qualifications
• Education:
IT technician with Diploma
• Experience
• 2 years of experience working with software development, system programming
• Applicant with formal training for "TRA EFD" machine maintenance will be an added advantage.
• Skills:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Kiswahili and English
• Business marketing will be highly recommended.
2. SECURITY GUARD (1)
This position reports to the IT Cum Sales Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities
This position will be responsible to guard shop/store premises at all times during night hours.
Requirements:
Education:
• Military course provided by TPDF (is a must)
• Form Four
• Good track records
Experience
• 2 years of experience working with guard companies, home premises and or corporate.
• Proven experience in the development of security techniques and be a reliable person to provide technical directions regarding to the sec disputes.
