We're looking for a high-performing business developer/sales person/account manager to help us continue our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will be responsible for developing and executing all key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve your financial targets.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Telco customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Achieve annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts.
- Responsible for providing an annual account plan and providing quarterly updates, revisions and modifications to the plan.
- In coordination with the African Heads of Sales, establishes both market and target customer strategies for the company.

Requirements
- 7+ years of successful sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding targets - selling software
- MUST have relationships and experience selling into Vodacom
- Ideally success personally selling & closing BSS/billing/charging deals in Africa ; ideally in Tanzania, Mozambique, SA,
- You must have significant Telecom industry experience selling into mobile and/or wireless providers in Africa with a strong network of contacts and relationships to leverage within customers & partners.
- Personal and recent success closing complex sales.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors.
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- Based in Tanzania
