Successful candidates will:
Demonstrate understanding of and at least 3 years experience in the Software Business Partner channel in East Africa (re-sellers, distributors and other BP-types)
Demonstrate understanding of BP Channel programs (such as SVP, SVI, BPLM, etc.)
Identify effective ways to leverage SWG programs to improve channel sales & productivity, and IBM's value to our Business Partners.
Demonstrate knowledge of the channel sales model, both internal and external.
Be capable of presenting and articulating the differentiated value of IBM's Channel incentives, resources, strategy and the Software product portfolio to IBM's channel sellers and Business Partners. Have experience successfully selling with, or leading Business Partners in complex, competitive sales situations.
Be able to team effectively with individuals from global business untis, IBM's distributors and our teams in the geography.
Be flexible and creative, willing to adapt to the evolving needs of a new and strategic division.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 8 years experience in Relationship building, time management and sales acumen
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Master's Degree
- At least 10 years experience in Relationship building, time management and sales acumen
