The American Red Cross (ARC) International Services Department (ISD) seeks to prevent and alleviate human suffering around the world by responding to disasters, building safer, more resilient communities, and educating future humanitarians. With programs and partners in 70 countries, the American Red Cross working to strengthen the global Red Cross Red Crescent Network in order to deliver critical assistance to some of the most vulnerable communities in the world, reaching 100 million people annually.
SUMMARY:
The American Red Cross (ARC) International Services Department (ISD) seeks to prevent and alleviate human suffering around the world by responding to disasters, building safer, more resilient communities, and educating future humanitarians. With programs and partners in 70 countries, the American Red Cross working to strengthen the global Red Cross Red Crescent Network in order to deliver critical assistance to some of the most vulnerable communities in the world, reaching 100 million people annually. The American Red Cross seeks an information systems associate to support the growing needs of our international programs. The associate will serve as the primary systems administrator for an international project management system (ECOS) developed on the Salesforce platform. The systems associate reports directly to the senior project manager for information systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as the primary contact for ECOS user support, including documenting, replicating, analyzing, resolving and/or escalating user requests as appropriate. • Trend user issues and recommend new features for future system enhancements. • Coordinate and document feedback from end user testing of new features. • Work with supervisor and training specialist to help create, maintain and share accessible user documentation and trainings for end users. • Support and/or lead user trainings. • Stay abreast of new Salesforce features and applications. • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Bachelor's degree with at least three years of professional experience. • Must have excellent writing, editing, analytical, and time-management skills. • Must have operational flexibility, the ability to problem-solve, multi-task, liaise with multiple parties, receive direction and respond effectively, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and a willingness to take the initiative. • Must be familiar with and have experience with cloud computing and databases. • Must have some experience in customer support and training users. • Familiarity with the Red Cross network is preferred. • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of products, namely JIRA and Confluence, desired. • Direct experience with Salesforce highly preferred.
Selected candidate must be legally allowed to work in the US without any need for Visa Sponsorship now or in the future.
Relocation expenses will not be provided as part of the offer.
