Applications are invited from suitably qualified Public candidate to fill the following vacancy position in Packaging Department at Dar Plant.

 

JOB TITLE         :           PROCESS ARTISAN (2 posts)

 

REPORTS TO     :            TEAM LEADER

 

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

To maintain, repair, operate and optimise plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality.

 

KEY FOCUS AREAS

 

v  Plan and prepare for routine maintenance

v  Monitor the condition of machinery and equipment

v  Perform routine maintenance

v  Apply quality checks on completed work

v  Care for and store routine maintenance tools and equipment

v  Report on machine and equipment condition

v  Discuss and explain incidents and problems related to performing routine maintenance

v  Prepare and start allocated packaging machine

v  Operate allocated packaging equipment

v  Shut down allocated packaging equipment

v  Prepare for and perform changeovers on allocated packaging equipment

v  Work and communicate effectively in teams

 

THE PERSON

 

v  Full Technician Certificate-Electrical  (FTC) , Diploma Holder -Mechanical           

v  1-2 years experience as a Process Artisan-Mechanical with Basic process knowledge

v  Ability to speak English fluently

 

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT

 

·         Understanding of relevant SHE acts and procedures (lockout / isolation procedures)

·         Filling to completion of Job cards

·         Ability to carry out systematic problem solving, Root cause analysis and FFA

·         Plan, prioritize, time estimation of jobs at low cost.
