The Institute of Accountancy Arusha is a parastatal academic Institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate training courses. It is established by the Institute of Accountancy Act No.1 of 1990 with its headquarters at Njiro Hili, Arusha City. The Institute wishes to recruit a number of suitable, motivated, potential and capable human resources from the market on an unspecified time and pensionable terms.

To provide high quality, competence-based training and offer research and consultancy services through applied technology.
Lecturer - 3 posts (Information System - 1 post; Finance - 1 post; Economics - 1 post)
Scope of the position and its expected outputs:
-Position relationships:
Holder of the position is responsible for all assigned academic duties. The outputs In this position are expected In the quality, efficient and effective dissemination of skills and knowledge in a competence based mode with big and value adding results with integrity and honesty.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Reports to the respective Head of Department Supervises: NIL
Teach up to NTA level 8 for Master's Degree holders and up to NTA level 9 for PhD holders.
Guide and supervise students in building up their practical and research projects.
Prepare teaming resources and design training exercises for students.
Conduct consultancy and community services Develop and review existing curriculum.
Undertake individual research and participates in scientific/academic congregations.
Prepare teaching manuals, simulations and case studies for training. Coach junior teaching staff.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Person specification:
By recruitment of holders of Doctorate (PhD) Degree in relevant field who is eligible for registration as a technical teacher. Or
Registered technical teacher, holder of Master Degree/PhD in relevant field who is working in similar position in related or allied institution. Or
Holder of Masters Degree in relevant field, who has a proven applicable working experience preferably in research/consultancy of at least five consultancy/research reports of the academic and professional appreciable in the relevant field. Must have a maximum age of 40 years.
