World Vision Tanzania is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following position:

Job Title: Cluster Team Leader (2 Positions)
Reports to:  Zonal Manager     
Location; Singida and Morogoro  
Purpose of the position:
To provide management support to ADP/Project within the cluster by ensuring effective integration and implementation of development and sponsorship processes and enhance partnership initiatives.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that communities are facilitated to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate the program activities for quality and sustainable development
  • Enforce stewardship and accountability by ensuring that resources are efficiently and effectively utilized within the program/project for the intended purpose
  • Ensure that sponsorship and child participation, rights, protection standards are adhered to and they are adequately integrated into programming for community transformation
  • Facilitate the preparation of quality and timely of monthly, quarterly, Semi annual reports, projects/programs narrative and review financial reports.
  • Ensure that audit preparations, implementation and recommendations are timely responded to, fully implemented and progress is reported quarterly
  • Ensure timely preparation of annual budget, AOP, DIP and facilitate program/project monthly funding and sound financial control and programme management.
  • Facilitate networking relationships for WV visibility (through meetings, forums, seminars, reports) with government, church, faith based organization leaders and other key partners within the cluster.
  • Facilitate integration and implementation of transition plans, disaster preparedness plans and capacity building of local institutions (CBO, TSACCOS etc) for sustainable development.
  • Ensure compliance to WVT core documents (policies, procedures, guidelines) within the Cluster.
  • Facilitate various capacity building initiatives to staff and community groups  within the cluster.
  • Provide and facilitate HR issues (recruitment, appraisal,) within the cluster
  • Provide monitoring support to the ADPs to ensure compliance to set goal/targets
Competencies/Attributes:
  • Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:  Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience
The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:
  • Minimum Qualification required: BA/Bsc Degree in Economics, Agriculture, Business administration, Development studies/planning, Social Science or other related field. Master Degree will be an added advantage. 
  • Experience:  3 years in program/project
  • Preferred:  Working experience in community development
  • Technical Skills & Abilities:
  • Computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in supervision
  • Experience in working with donor funds, sponsorship operations and grants funding.
  • Working knowledge of disaster management, emergency preparedness, monitoring and evaluation, sphere standards are added advantage.
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of staff and other stakeholders
