You are responsible for supporting Information Security officer (ISO) to establish and maintain a Business Continuity Management System, in order to ensure that business critical services and functions are identified and recovered in the event of a declared disaster.

In addition to that, you are also responsible for supporting and monitors Loss Prevention Program compliance, oriented to mitigate business disruptions of our CORE business, as well as, for identifying, evaluating and reporting on BCM risks in a manner that meets compliance and regulatory requirements.

You will proactively work with business units representatives to design, implement and develop practices that meet defined policies and standard for Business Continuity Management and continuous improvement of Loss Prevention across Millicom operations. He or she will also support the ISO to oversee all IT/OT BCM risk management activities.

You are highly knowledgeable about Telecommunication business environment, BCM best practices and risk management. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, who should possess solid domain competency in the field of risk management and Business continuity management, as well as high developed project management skills.
Key Responsibilities

- Establish BCM policy, objectives, targets, controls, processes and procedures relevant to managing risk and improving preparedness and continuity in order to deliver results that align with the organization's overall policies and objectives.

- Establish Loss Prevention program including standards and processes oriented to improve business resilience through the organization, and aligned with business risk appetite.

-  Develops and implements a strategic and comprehensive enterprise business continuity and risk management program to provide business resilience in the presence of a disaster or disruption, in compliance with acceptable levels of risk, business policies and under the BCM framework defined.

- Implement standards and plans defined, as well as remediation measures identified for LPS and BCM improvement.

- Provide subject matter expertise to executive management on business continuity standards and best practices, such as BS 25999-1:2006, BS 25999-2:2007, CobiT and ITIL.

- Reporting and oversight of remediation efforts, to management for review, in order to determine and authorize actions for remediation and improvement. This should be done always after assessments, testing, or activations of plans / controls in place.

- Develop business-relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the BCM program.
Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in telecommunications and/or information technology, engineer, business management or related field. At least one certifications in BCM and risk are required, such as MBCP, CBCP, CBCI, MBCI or equivalent. Other certifications preferred such as ITIL, COBIT, CISM, CRISK, ISO 25999 lead auditor.

- Minimum of 5 years experience in business continuity management related jobs in telecommunications companies.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaborative skills; and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

- Must be a critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

- High level of personal integrity, and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and exude the appropriate level of judgment and maturity.

- Knowledge of security and risk management control frameworks, such as ISO 25999, 22301, 22300, 27000, 17799, CobiT, BCI Best Practices, COSO and ITIL.

- Knowledge of technological Network and IT trends to support planning.

- Proficient with personal computers; experience with productivity software, such as Windows, Microsoft Office software and so forth.

- High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.
