Agricultural Labor Practices (Alp) Coordinator 1 POSITION
Roles and Responsibilities:
Agricultural Labour practices (ALP) coordinator will be able to to plan, supervise and comprehensively coordinate all Agricultural Labor Practices (ALP) Programs on progressively eliminating child labor and other worst forms of labor on farms that the Company sources tobacco from. Some of the the roles and
Responsibilities will include:
To coordinate ALP education and general Tanzania labor laws information to ATTT ALP Team, contracted Primary Societies and their members Supervise the implementation of the ALP Code and other applicable Tanzanian's labour laws
Gather, Consolidate and Compile information for the effective preparation of the company ALP reports and submit to Group Legal & Corporate Affairs Manager / Head of the Agronomy Operations
Prepare ALP Program Calendar/ action plan based on ALP program Recommend for allocation of resources to meet program objectives
Track all development and changes on the labor laws in Tanzania and report the same to the management.
Reporting
The job incumbent will be directly reporting to the Group Legal & Coorporate Affairs Manager in Morogoro
Qualifications and experience Diploma/ Bachelor of Laws;
2 year experience with NGO's as a Program coordinator
