Geita Gold Mine (GGM) is situated in the Lake Victoria Gold fields of North Western Tanzania. It is located within Geita Region, about 85 kms from Mwanza City and 20 kms South East of the nearest point of Lake Victoria and 5 Kms west of Geita town. The Mine is owned and managed by Anglo Gold Ashanti Limited.
Applications are invited from ambitious, energetic and performance driven individuals to fill the following vacant positions:
Engineering Auto Electrical Training Officer
WORKS FOR: HME & LME - TRAINING FLM
QUALIFICATION: BSc. Automotive Engineering/Advanced Diploma in Auto Electrical.
EXPERIENCE:
5 years experience in modern mining equipments: CAT/Komatsu Atlas drill/EJC/cat-ET&SISfToyota -OBD/Basic Hydraulics system maintenance/Lifting equipments.
ROLE FUNCTION:
To ensure that the full training cycle is implemented, promptly identified and translated into effective training and competency assessments of learners.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Conducts relevant 'on and off the work' training programmes as per training matrices.
• Ensures that qualitative and quantitative training objectives are achieved.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
• High level of computer literacy mainly in power point/word/ Excel.
• Strong work ethics.
• Use of working tools: ET&SIS, VIMS, OBD, (Electronic. Technician System).
