The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia is looking for a qualified and experienced Cook/Chef with a minimum of 3 years diploma or equivalent in hospitality with 5 years experience at its residence. Such a person should be honest, responsible, trustworthy, tidy and hardworking. Diplomatic experience shall be an added advantage.
The High Commission of the Republic of Namibia is looking for a qualified and experienced Cook/Chef with a minimum of 3 years diploma or equivalent in hospitality with 5 years experience at its residence. Such a person should be honest, responsible, trustworthy, tidy and hardworking. Diplomatic experience shall be an added advantage.
The main duties shall be preparing meals at the official residence as well as cooking and serving at diplomatic functions such as receptions or dinners hosted by the Head of Mission or the spouse. Therefore, the ability to communicate in English is a pre-requisite. Detailed job description shall be provided upon employment.
