Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered NGO first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider of disability rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to improve the quality of life of people living with disabilities as well as their families and to enable them to achieve their legitimate potential.

Duties to Include: • Accept samples at the reception unit and register them in the registration book and computer if there's one • Perform and evaluate document internal quality control data and assure that patient's results are not reported when quality controls fails • Detect and document any technical problems pertaining to instrumentation and establish the cause and rectify the problem in accordance to the guidelines and procedures • Ensure that proper records of laboratory investigations are maintained • Maintain strict confidentiality of patients results, families and staff

Work Experience / Skills: • Knowledge of project planning and monitoring tools ( E ) • Adequate experience working in a team (P )

Qualifications: • Diploma in health laboratory technology from a recognized institution ( E ) • Should have full registration with the Health Laboratory Practitioners Council as a Health Laboratory Technologist ( E )
