The Radio Drama Director/Story Editor laterally works with the Drama Series Producer and reports to the Senior Production Manager. His/her major function is in retaining oversight and technical leadership for all radio drama output, ensuring systems are in place to support all aspects of production at every stage of project design: from pre-production, production and post-production. The position will also require to support BBC Media Action staff, including but not limited to, any BBC Media Action Web Producers (London or Tanzania) Research, Projects teams and Admin/ Finance Departments in: explaining existing storylines in dramatic terms; discussing new messaging in storylines; and suggesting and soliciting angles for communicating messaging in accordance to project or donor mandates.
