CAFOD Africa Governance Programme Manager , Kenya



We are looking for a highly motivated Africa Governance Programme Manager to cover for maternity leave. Leading a pan-African team you will support CAFOD and Trocaire partners in the implementation of the DFID-funded "Action for Better Governance Programme".
Job role You will lead the Action for Better Governance Programme and manage staff many of which are at a distance. During the six months you will implement the final evaluation of the programme, including producing the annual report and coordinating regional partner workshops.
Your profile You will have experience of managing programmes and of working closely with donors. You will be fluent in English with excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills, inter-cultural sensitivity and confidence in dealing with a wide range of Church and NGO partners. You will be able to travel for approximately 6-7 weeks during the six month period.
This post could be based in Nairobi, or London with travel to Nairobi, depending on visas, right to work and /or where the successful applicant is based.
