A member of a Technical Assistance Team for an urban development project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with the overall objective of developing an integrated land use and transport plan and guidelines to guide the detailed development and appropriate densification along the first line of the Dar es Salaam BRT Corridor. Realization of this strategy will maximize the benefits of this significant transport investment. The strategy should be developed through a participatory approach and according to the relevant statutory requirements for urban planning.

- A minimum of a Masters level degree in Urban Planning, Finance or related Degree or equivalent professional discipline
- A minimum of 10 years working experience with these responsibilities

Professional Experience Required
- Demonstrated experience in real estate market assessment, investor outreach and engagement, structuring mixed-use real estate transactions, design of sustainable business models for real estate investment and operations, advisory on the use and benefits of traditional and alternative value capture mechanisms (LVT, TIF, Special Assessment Districts, Impact Fees, TDR / Air Rights, Joint Development, Exactions/Easements, etc.), development of legal and institutional requirements to facilitate transit-oriented development
