Mobisol Ltd was established in 2013 to foster and expand our operations within the Tanzanian market and accompany our growth through East Africa.

As part of our growth plans in Tanzania, Mobisol Ltd is now looking for a Logistics TeamLeader.

Responsibilities 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  

The main role of the Logistics Team Leader is responsibility for the Logistics operations in our Regional & Zonal Hubs. This includes inventory management, distribution of systems and components and the procurement of office supplies & operational materials.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare weekly stock requirements by analysis of Hubs sales targets and communicating changes to the Distribution Officer for adjusting delivery schedules where required
  • Approve and supervise stock shifting among Market Hubs (MH) in case of stock shortages and/or ad-hoc sales promotions
  • Support country-wide / inter-country (among Country Offices) stock shifting; set up and maintain relationships with external delivery service providers
  • Review hand over reports, particularly following up on missing items in the MHs with the Distribution Officer
  • Communicate Logistics operational changes to the team (eg new product introduction) and represent Logistics Department in meetings

Reporting:

Logistics Team Leader reports to the Zonal Hub Manager and Logistics Manager

 

Authority:

The Logistics Team Leader has functional authority for the Logistics Team at the RH and ZH

 Job requirements  Qualifications and skills required:

 

  • University graduate in a business field such as logistics, supply chain management, operations management

 

  • 5 years solid working experience with at least 2 years as a Team Leader/Supervisor

 

  • Proficient in spreadsheet and database applications and comfortable with quantitative analysis
  • Experience with DMS Logistics, CILT and CIPS is advantageous

 

  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili

 

  • Willingness to relocate (if applicable) and travel within in the zone assigned

 

  • Drivers licence required
