Internal Auditor
Position: Internal Audit supervisor
Location: Dar es salaam, Tanzania
Reporting to: Chief Executive offer
i. Context:
With the aim of respecting the vision and mission and also to transform and expand WA-HST and actives in order to offer the best quality services and to smooth the progress of all the works, the internal Audit supervisor (IAS) is responsible for checking the efficiency of internal control processes of the company.

ii. PRINCIPLES DUTIES:
1. Supervision./ Management tasks
The IAS is currently functionally responsible to lead the execution of internal audit, with responsible to the chief Executive offer and the chairman and the board of Trustees in the current and transformed entity. For all audit matters, internal management members, and to the chairman of board of Trustees
2. Frauds investigation
• Leads any special appraisal, inspections, investigation, examinations or reviws on frauds, suspect cases or irregularities requested by the senior management
• Leads internal audit team to appraise bad debts for the purpose of write-off and make sure that written-off loan are properly made according to provision and recovery processes
3. Direct internal Audit conduct
The Internal audit supervision is entrusted with onsite responsibility to appraise the policies, procedures and procedure and management controls of the company to ensure that the activities are properly managed and to promote effective risk management and internal control practices at reasonable cost.
4. Reporting systems
The internal Audit supervisor produces audit report and maintain resport system across management and report to the chief executive officer, and to board of directors. Resort quarterly to the company's system of internal controls. Keep relationship with external auditors on internal control report to work on finding issues and action take. Liaise with external auditors to ensure that three is no duplication of audit efforts.
iii. Qualifications and competencies
a) Good Accounting or finance bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
b) Holder of professional accounting certification such as a CPA or ACCA.
c) Certification on CIA will be an added advantage
d) Minimum five (5) years of experience in a senior position is required.
e) Excellent ability to respond to changing context, market and working environment
f) Experience managing, mentoring and training staff; and with current management information system.
g) Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
h) Experience of working in Tanzania.
