Route To Consumer Analyst (RTC) at Serengeti Breweries Ltd
RTC (ROUTE TO CONSUMER) ANALYST (L5)
Purpose:HQ coordination of RTC activities which include Retailer Universe database management, distributor zoning, direct delivery routing, AD and route performance (KPI's) analysis and reporting, trade segmentation to ensure world class RTC implementation in the field with the target of 100% numeric distribution of major SBL & DIAGEO brands nationwide. Make Sales organization ready for Sales Automation implementation.

Tasks:

  • Record and keep the National Retailer Universe database per regional/district/ward split are kept up-to-date.
  • Make sure distributor area allocations and zoning and routing is done appropriately and sufficient distributor resources are allocated to service each specific zone. Target is 100% numeric distribution nationwide for all major brands.
  • Set-up zone and AD based KPI reporting on efficient sales and distribution and report regularly emphasizing the improvement and correction areas.
  • Set-up and implement computer based applications in HQ and all Distributor offices and in the field to ensure timely and uninterrupted and correct information flow.
  • Implement Trade segmentation and support marketing in planning campaigns and channel specific activities.
  • Revise AD routes and suggest and implement changes for better coverage according to the market dynamics.

External:Area Distributors, VSM's

Reports to:National Sales Development and Capability Building Manager

Profile:

  • College degree – Business admin or preferably Computer Sciences, proficient in Network and computer environment
  • Preferably 3+ Years FMCG distribution planning background
  • Analytical mind and Strategy setting skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Presentation and MsOffice computer skills
