MISSION
The legal officer is in charge to secure the contractual or legal engagements or obligations involving the bank.
REPORTS TO: Commercial Manager
WORK LOCATION: Advans Bank Tanzania Head Office with a part of the time spends in the court and sometimes in the branches for control and coaching
PROFILE:
Ensure the proper control of collateral before the disbursement
Ensure proper management of mortgage registration and documentation
Reviewing legal documentation of all the loans transferred to risk department
Ensure compliance with regulations of all the contracts including the client's agreement
Ability to manage the collateral management process
Ability to respect and ensure the respect of regulations and laws within the company
Ability to provide legal advices
Ability to promote and ensure a clear, transparent and accurate information
Capacity to communicate efficiently, both orally and in writing
Must have postgraduate diploma in law
Good knowledge of computer
