In anticipation of upcoming Technical Assistance (TA) opportunities WYG is seeking Geothermal Power specialists interested in consultancy work in Eastern Africa.
The TA will be according to need and demand, collaborating with relevant existing and emerging East African institutions to strengthen their ability ti deliver geothermal development.
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for experienced specialists in the following areas:
- National planning of power
- Power sector financial models and business planning
- Geothermal energy law, licencing, and concessions
- Power purchase agreements
- Policy and regulation for independent power producers
- Building capability in power sector organisations
- Management of major donor funded programmes and projects in the power sector
