Role overview
Quality Teaching Skills Facilitators will be working in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training in the government Teacher training colleges.The role will focus on mentoring, coaching and training tutors ,Heads of Departments and Academic Deans in 5 Teacher Training Colleges which are located in the Western zones.The mentoring and coaching will be on supporting the application of effective use of a variety of pedagogues in teaching.The Quality teaching facilitator will be working in a team of 3 VSO Facilitators (2 Quality teaching skills and 1 Leadership Skills facilitator) and British Council Trainers who are part of the zone project team.

Skills, qualifications and experience required
You have at least a Master degree in Education or Bachelor of Secondary Education. You have a minimum of 5 years teaching experience in secondary or teacher training college. A first experience in teacher training and teacher coaching is desirable.
You are available for a volunteer placement of 12 months.

Before you apply know the location of the job is in a dry area with extensive heat temperatures around summer and salty water. the job will involve a lot of extensive travelling by public transport. You also need to be willing to share accommodation with other volunteers.
