Triple Jump is recruiting a:
IT Manager/ Information Manager
32-40 hours per week, initially for 1 year, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Triple Jump is a socially responsible investment management company with its head office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and regional offices in Georgia, Peru, Mexico, Kenya, and Thailand. Triple Jump manages and administers investment funds that focus on improving access to finance for entrepreneurs in developing countries. The funds we manage reach out to in excess of 350,000 micro, small and medium enterprises in 60 low- and middle income countries.
Strong company growth has led to a greater need for high quality information. To assure the essential continuity and stability of the IT infrastructure, Triple Jump has invested in a ERP fund management system to support core business processes. In line with these developments, we have decided to form a separate IT department falling under direct supervision of the Board. The IT Manager/ Information Manager will head this department and fulfil a central role within our organisation, taking on responsibility for analysing and satisfying the information needs of our business units, for managing our IT infrastructure and overall ICT strategy.
Expectations
As IT Manager/ Information Manager you will:
- Develop Triple Jump's IT and information policies and provide subsequent recommendations to the Board;
- Convert the IT strategies into policies and daily practice;
- Identify ICT information requirements and align these with the relevant departments within Triple Jump;
- Engage in and monitor contracts with suppliers and ensure adequate performance;
- Be responsible for day-to-day operations of the IT department including supervision of the application manager.
Job requirements
- A Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics or Information Management;
- At least 2 years proven experience in a managerial position
- 8 years experience in (various) IT support functions
- Proven project management skills
- Experience with the development and improvement of business applications
- Experience with advising organisations in the field of ICT and Information Management;
- Experience with outsourced IT services to providers and the management of service level agreements and vendors;
- Ability to assess quality and needs of IT infrastructure
- Excellent planning and communication skills at all levels of the company;
- Extensive knowledge of Information Technology solutions and application development;
- EU working permit.
