Consultant in Public Affairs (permanent offer)

Specifically, we advise these clients on the implications of legislative developments for their organisations, and develop advocacy strategies that help them enhance their positioning. As part of a wider team we collaborate with colleagues across the office on their specific areas of expertise including health, financial services and energy policy, and we work with colleagues in other FleishmanHillard offices across our EMEA and Global network.
The Position
We are looking for a public affairs and communications professional with 3 years of relevant expertise in the Technology sector, to join our established practice. The Consultant will contribute to the definition and implementation of public affairs programs and pan-European communications strategies, and provide political intelligence services in support of public affairs programs. The Consultant will manage a number of public affairs and communications campaigns, and work in close partnership with clients as a trusted advisor. As a member of our practice, the Consultant will contribute to wider management activity including business development and pitching, as well as management of junior resources.
Qualifications:
Experience required
- An established track record of work experience relating to EU level Technology area
- Experience in a consultancy is an advantage
- Understanding of client business operations (beyond communications)
Skills and abilities
- Manage the implementation of a number of public affairs and communications programs
- Formulate successful, influential public affairs campaigns and stakeholder communications strategies
- Dynamic team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to offer high-level advice on the spot
- Excellent writing and communications skills; fluency in English a must
- Proficient in most common business software applications
