2. CUSTODY OFFICER -1 POSITION (HEAD OFFICE)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Perform the day-to-day "Corporate Actions" related tasks in respect to:
i) Process mandatory, voluntary "Corporate Actions" events and Proxy Voting including the timely dissemination of information to clients and disbursement of income proceeds,
ii) Review and discuss with team members on "Corporate Actions" events where processes are different from the normal events,
iii) Provide suggestion/solution on client's issues, system problems, resources issues, etc,

vi) Response to client's inquiries in a timely manner and by providing accurate information,

• Review accuracy of assets valuation and valuation reporting on daily basis

• Undertake daily reconciliation of client's records in the Azania Bank Ltd Custody IT System and records in the Stock Exchange Central Depository Accounts.
• Update market Statistics in the Custody System for continuous and regular valuation and correct information delivery to clients
• Carry out Settlements and General Banking activities in line with laid down procedures and all regulatory requirements and Fund Manager Directives.
• Achieve established targeted standards of productivity and client services in Settlement area of:
i) Processing of equity settlement and ensuring there is sufficient funds and shares,
ii) Reviewing potential failed/failed trade until resolutions
• Receive client instructions (fax, swift and normal mail) and carry out call back and distribute the same to the respective team members.
• Calculate billing as at end of every month.
• Pass all accounting entries for all fees received.
• Ensure compliance at all times to the provision of Trust Deed
• Maintain good relationship with customers, regulators and other stake holders.
• Carry out period vault reconciliations with Local reconciliation team
• Review Nostro & receivables account for outstanding fees,
• Carry out settlement of offshore investments, receive contract notes and send/receive funds to/from Agents for settlement and capture transactions in the system.

Qualification, Work experience and Competences

3. TREASURY OFFICER ( DEALER) – 1 POSITION (HEAD OFFICE) DAR ES SALAAM
Tasks and Responsibilities.
• Gather information and prepare multi currency market report and propose an appropriate currency and interest rates for the Bank
• Determine and advise management on the Bank's daily cash and liquidity position
• Provide input into the monthly, quarterly and annual Treasury business plan
• Deal in interbank foreign exchange market, money markets and investment in Government securities as per internal guidelines

• Hedge the risks arising from foreign currency flows and transactions
• Maintain and ensure proper utilization of all Nostro accounts and explore prudent avenues of investing the idle cash.
• Follow up the Forex Open Position to be in the required regulatory levels and advise Management on active resolution of exceptional items.
• Cultivate and maintain working relationships with banks and counterparties to ensure proactive and comprehensive coverage across various markets and products;
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports on liquidity and rate outlook
• Inform and provide recommendations to the Treasury Manager of significant developments, emerging opportunities and challenges in areas of responsibility; and

Tasks and Responsibilities.
• Enter approved loan facilities into Loan Management System.
• Make timely loan repayments follow-up an all approved loan facilities under your allocated loan portfolio to proactively prevent migration of loan contracts into a deteriorating quality category,
• Raise appropriate vouchers for passing entries in to the system as per approval,

• Reconcile the issued insurance cover notes from the insurer with the insurance premium payments submitted by the Bank.

• Prepare monthly reports for the Management for control and monitoring giving details of payment of insurance submitted to the insurer for the month, cover notes collected from the insurer, amount outstanding in the insurance payable account, total amount of cash cover held for insurance in customers' accounts, amount collected as bank commission account and any report on claims if any on the amount and status.
