'Know Me' is a high profile programme that is making better use of customer data to personalise communications and offerings to our customers in the areas of targeted selling, personal recognition and service recovery. 
 
The modelling team as part of the Know Me Lab is looking at how we can use analytics and data mining techniques to make marketing campaigns and personalised messaging more relevant, based on a customer's travel, booking and BA website looking history. We need to be able to measure incremental revenue and email engagement which means we need to set up the campaigns in a scientific way, with control groups so we can measure response fairly and accurately.

About the role

  • We are looking for a Senior Reporting Analyst to design, maintain and distribute reports and dashboards which will inform the business as well as stimulating further investigation and analysis
  • You will deliver pre, during and post campaign / communication programme analysis, dashboards and insights to drive how we communicate and personalise our marketing and customer services
  • You'll liaise with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, ensure all published work meets business needs and adjust reporting style, tone and format to address different audiences and levels of detail. This will involve developing and refining data collection and interrogation, building and quality-controlling reporting suites for campaigns and providing an evaluation framework to track programme benefits
  • You'll also help drive best practice and proactively drive improvement
  • Act as the conscience of the business, challenging and impacting decision making

About you

  • To be up to the job, you'll need a degree or equivalent in a business/technical/mathematical discipline and experience of designing complex reports. This will have involved using SAS to drive regular and ad hoc reporting, data visualisation and multi-channel campaign analysis
  • You'll also be capable of reviewing complex data sets for accuracy and relevance, building and maintaining spreadsheets and automating repetitive processes
  • Relevant experience in similar analytical role in marketing or CRM
  • Proven track record in campaign / CRM programme reporting
  • Experience of interrogating report findings and supporting / suggesting campaign optimisation opportunities
  • Experience and solid understanding of complex campaign design
  • Experience of producing multi-layered reporting dashboards including KPIs, customer segment and campaign performance metrics
