Champion Leaders and Innovators to create Social Value in Europe. Stand for Euclid President.

Champion Leaders and Innovators to create Social Value in Europe. Stand for Euclid President.
You are someone with vision, ideas and stature – the ideal qualities to help revitalise communities across Europe as Euclid's new President. This is a truly influential non-executive position that will take you around the continent to champion citizens, social entrepreneurs and civil society leaders who have great ideas for change.
Euclid Network works to empower these people to turn ideas into solutions which meet economic and social need in Europe. We are an open community of change-makers, with a core membership, who share our values – from business leaders to young entrepreneurs, to academics to representatives from government and international institutions.
As President, you will become a figurehead in a movement for free collaboration. We will ask you to chair our Board of Non-Executive Directors - guiding and influencing strategy and ensuring accountability. Across 50 countries, you will stimulate partnerships between corporates, not-for-profits, government and universities. And, you will look to encourage enlightened institutional policy making at national and European levels.
This non-executive role is unpaid. Travel and accommodation expenses will be paid for the tasks you undertake, including Board meetings which are held around Europe and visits to our headquarters in London. You will be willing to give around 10 days of your time per year for three years. You may be re-elected.
It's important that you combine a deep commitment to our values with a proven track record of leadership and influencing change. You will find more about the opportunity and the qualities we are looking for on our website, together with contact details if required for an informal discussion, and full details of the application and election processes. We look forward to viewing your manifesto.
