Responsibilities:
The post holder will be responsible for implementing the mandate of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in the Asia Pacific region with emphasis in South East Asia. Based in Kuala Lumpur the post holder will manage the Contract Agreement between PMNCH and IPPF-ESEAOR in implementing advocacy, networking and communications work related to PMNCH and will have the task of generating support from governments, CSOs and the public as the main support staff of the PMNCH Secretariat in the region.
Requirements:
· A post graduate qualification in Public Health, Law, Social Sciences, Communications or Public Policy
· Minimum 7 years experiences in NGO work at management level including reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health (RMNCH) issues.
· Experience in working to raise awareness and profile of sensitive issues among targeted audiences.
The above position will be for a one year period, and any extension is subject to review and availability of funds. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Detailed job description can be obtained upon request.
