Position: Country Head of HR and Training

Job Description/Responsibilities: The Country Head of HR and Training will guide various aspects of strategic and operational HR and training efforts to support short-term and long-term goals of BRAC in the country.
Position Specifications: Provide HR leadership; collaborate with the management team to design and implement strategies to support organizational growth and culture
  • Collaborate with head office HR in rolling out organisational development initiatives
  • Carry out ongoing analysis of the organization, monitoring and interpreting trends and key HR metrics
  • Direct the complete cycle of HR operations
  • Develop practices and programs that attract, retain and develop the best possible talent in the marketplace and makes the company attractive through competitive pay and an engaging culture
Key Responsibilities:
  • Capability developmentManage special projects
  • HR Policy review and analytics
  • Relationship Management
Educational Requirements:
  • A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related area of focus is required; Master degree (e.g., MBA, MA HR) strongly preferred
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 years HR and training experience
  • Experience working with a diverse workforce
  • Prior experience working within an NGO is a plus
Additional Job Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel to domestic and international offices
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience
  • Relevant training certifications and excellent facilitation & training design skills
  • Remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment
  • Excellent time-management, problem-prevention and problem-solving skillsIT skills
