MAMBO YA MWANZA AT KULEANA CENTRE FOR CHILDREN RIGHT

Kuleana Boys (Dream Local Band)

Would like to say a Happy Birthday and a huge thank you for a donation received yesterday from Gordon Stewart who for his birthday donated us a goat to celebrate the end of Ramadhan.

The training we attended was carried out by Alison from Juconi, who is an extremely experienced child therapist who has been working for Juconi (an organisation in Mexico supporting street involved children and their familes) for the past twenty years, and it was facilitated by Railway Children. Five different organisations attended the six days of training – Adilisha, Upendo Daima, Amani girls,

How to start... For those of you who know and those of you who don't we lost a very big chunk of our organisation today. Sofoko Whittaker has been working for Caretakers of the Environment Tanzania for the past two years full time and had previously volunteered with us during her gap year. She returned with the intention of helping for six months and has ended up working for two whole years develo.

Last night's Italian Night was a huge success raising over tsh 440,000 profit to go towards the centre. Thanks to all those who came down for dinner and enjoyed our new Italian night. We had...
Tuscan Bean Crostini (made by our trainees)
Beef Lasagna (made by Juma or meat building cake as we have called it in Swahili)
Spinach Lasagna (made by Juma)
Bean Salad (made by the trainees)
Thanks for your support... x
