Reporting to the Retail Director for Zambia, you will manage the local Barclays Liability product range for Retail customers, ensuring the business remains competitive while achieving its stated income targets.

 

You will do this by building and developing a high performance team, embedding performance development and coaching. You will also be responsible for hiring staff, managing training needs and finalizing Performance Development Plans for all members of the staff. In addition, you will ensure income targets are met for Retail liability products as well as contribute ideas for alternate liability product strategies to manage the liability book. Finally, you will also identify opportunities for new liability product development and enhancement in line with the in-country Retail strategy.

  

Qualifications

 You will have the attitude and passion to drive the retail strategy forward.

 

You will also have a strong banking background in product knowledge and management with both, Assets and Liabilities. You will have strong management skills with the ability to lead and manage people, especially in the areas of motivation, mobilization, reward and training.
