Call for Applications: 2012 APSA Africa Workshop
The American Political Science Association (APSA) and the University of
Botswana are pleased to announce a call for applications from individuals
who would like to participate in a workshop on "Local Communities and the
State in Africa," including a special focus on field research methods, from
July 15-27, 2012 in Gaborone, Botswana. The deadline for applications is
March 30, 2012.
The 2012 APSA Africa Workshop will be led by Professors Parakh Hoon
(Virginia Tech), Lauren MacLean (Indiana University), Joseph Mbaiwa
(Okavango Research Institute, University of Botswana, Maun Campus), Sethunya
Mosime (University of Botswana, Gaborone Campus), and Lungisile Ntsebeza
(University of Cape Town).
