One of our clients is a leading internet group with presence of over 6 African countries is looking to hire a marketing Manager for one of its portfolio brands in Tanzania.
Marketing Manager
We're looking for smart, proactive people to help grow our business. As the Marketing Manager, you'll help drive grow our Brand in Tanzania audience and brand awareness through the execution of strong marketing campaigns. To achieve success in this role you will have a mix of marketing, analytical, relationship management and organizational skills. You'll also be comfortable picking up new technologies.
Basic Qualifications
1. Implementing existing promotional campaigns i.e outdoor advertising, print campaigns, tv& radio, online advertising in line with ongoing marketing plans for the brand
2. Manage the production of promotional and marketing material.
3. Ensure the companies Tanzania brand identity is consistent with the overall brand throughout Africa.
4. Exploring ways of improving existing products and services and increasing profitability.
5. Implementing and providing sales collateral and communication.
6. Producing reports to monitor results.
7. Grow the brands Tanzania's Social Media audience
8. Facilitate strong local PR and media mentions
9. Build strong distribution alliances and partnerships that grow our audience, competitive advantage and brand awareness
10. Monitor advertising spend and budgets and ensure maximum return on investment
11. Work closely with peers in Tanzania and other countries to ensure adoption of successful marketing strategies, brand consistency and providing regular feedback on activities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree in any Marketing related course
• Previous experience in a related role (i.e. Marketing or Brand management and online marketing)
• Experience of analytical tools e.g. Excel, Google Analytics
• Basic knowledge of HTML and/or website content management systems
• Tanzanian nationals preferred for this position
