Success Factors:

Candidate should have a deep sense of ownership and ability to work within a team seamlessly with care for the requests entrusted to the Legal Global Center of Excellence (gCOE). Good understanding of processes driven requests and an internal discipline to follow guidelines with high attention to detail and ability to read between the lines by using good judgment. Understanding instructions is required for request smooth processing along with sense of urgency to allow seamlessly handle multiple requests at the same time and flexibility to do "switch gears" quickly. On-going learning and proactive thinking which can result in communication and process improvement in order to enable the focus on the value-add. Good understanding of Legal concepts, contractual terms and constructs as well as understanding of when to escalate. Ideally have prior experience in software as service and subscription licensing contracts.

Pre-requisite:

Good understanding of Legal concepts. Detailed oriented and analytical minded; good team player;

Responsibilities:

• Review full range (simple to complex) of contracts and summarize accurately
• Manage end-to-end Legal processes (including drafting and negotiating) for NDA, IronPort, WebEx, Data Security, Channels, Beta Testing, Try & Buy, Demo Loan, Marketing and other agreements (negotiated positions based on Cisco playbooks)
• Conduct Legal research against existing contracts and interpret legal terms
• Contribute to knowledge management by consistently publishing alternative positions, sharing best practices and lessons learnt

Requirements: 

• 5 plus years of experience providing Legal support to Sales deals or researching legal matters in a corporate legal department and Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
