Quton Tanzania Limited (QTL) is a multinational company based in Mwanza. The company is involved in the production, processing and distribution of certified cotton planting seed in Tanzania.
The organization is currently seeking applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions.
POSITION; QUALITY ASSURANCE SUPERVISOR
STATION; Bariadi Kasoli
Reporting to: Seed Crop Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;
• Timeous seed sampling of both ginned and processed seed
• Carrying out seed quality tests as per international seed testing standards
• Timeous generation of seed germination test results
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment and general office administration
• Supervision of laboratory staff
• Generation of seed quality reports
• Ensure proper seed storage for both stocks and samples
Qualifications and Competencies
• Diploma/Certificate in Agriculture
• 2 years experience working in a laboratory with at least 1 years in supervisory capacity
• Excellent analytical and decision making skills
• High level computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills including fluency in English
• Team player
