Our client in the Insurance Brokerage Industry is in need of Head of Commercial Operations

Position: Head of Commercial Operations
Reporting To: General Manager

Overall Job Purpose: This individual will be responsible for the development and execution of strategies and initiatives to grow the:

1. Corporate Sales Divison
2. Retail and Channel Sales
3. Heath division growth and sales They will also be tasked with achieving profits and growth objectives for three above Position Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Accountable to manage strategies in order to achieve profit goals
• Accountable for development of product enhancement and new product offerings
• development includes: pricing, coverage an underwriting strategy
• Accountable to monitor industry trends an make corrective changes when required to maintain growth and profit positions
• Accountable to ensure that products meet needs of customers
• Accountable to manage budget and also manage P&L
• Responsible for development of underwriting guidelines and rules in conjunction with pricing and exposure control
• Managed the fulfillment claim and risk management
• Responsible for growing the corporate team and hiring of new agents
• Grow relationships with service providers and the consumer side
• Generate new business and maintain existing portfolio.
• Manage and lead the corporate division team
• Manage corporate division agents
• Manage relations with clients and service providers

Key Performance Indicators

• Increase in customer base
• Meeting or exceeding set targets.
• A motivated and high performing sales team
• Good relations with the service providers

Technical Qualifications

• Degree in Sales and Marketing/ Business related degree
• 3 years Experience in handling corporate accounts
• Qualification and experience in Insurance

Disposition

• Very good communicator and with excellent interpersonal skills
• Approachable
• Good negotiation skills
