About SMC Logistics Ltd.
SMC Logistics Ltd was established in Dublin in 2002 to manage the distribution of spare parts and tools for the aftermarket business of Sandvik Mining and Sandvik Construction across the globe. SMCL manages approximately 35 warehouses across 15 countries. In 2013, turnover of SMC Logistics was €1.2 billion, with profit of €219m.
The Role
- Development of financial and management reporting
- Identifying and managing process improvements
- Developing and enhancing business processes
- Project management including liaison with other business area stakeholders
- System development to support process improvements
Your Profile
- Qualified Accountant – ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Big 4 experience preferred
- Strong MS Excel skills are a must
- Knowledge of i-series/AS400 systems would be an advantage
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial processes
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Pro-active, energetic, curious, motivated & ambitious
