Dewatering Construction Assistant - (1 Post)

Reporting Line: Boilermaker First Line Leader
Location: Buzwagi Gold Mine; Kahama District; Shinyanga Region.
Work Schedule: 5 days day shift, 5 days night shift and 5 days off
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:_
• Setting up and monitoring of pit dewatering pumps
• Borehole pumps and the powering engines monitoring, this includes follow up on the re-fuelling
and reporting of performance and faults.
• Carry out dewatering projects including pipeline installations, extensions and reallocation
• Pump serviCing
• Provide assistance in other projects in the department
• Good communication skills and understanding of the two-way radio system for daily work communications and emergency reporting
• To actively participate in all safety programs
• Take action to identify and rectify hazards and risks.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:-Education Requirements:
• Certificate of Secondary Education Examination is required.
• A valid Tanzanian Driving License.
• Fitter mechanics or boilermaker certificates will be added advantage
Experience Requirements:
• At least 2 years experience with dewatering in any large open pit operation
• Experience of at least 1 year with fitter mechanics or boiler making works
