Senior Consultant, Finance &Accounting Operation(FAO) and Strategy &Operation (S&A)

We are seeking to recruit highly motivated Tanzanian National to fill the position of Senior Consultant, Finance & Accounting Operation (FAO) and Strategy & Operation(S&O) in our Advisory Line of Service .

Role

To work on and at times manage consulting assignments involving review and advise on accounting and financial management systems, internal control mechanism, public procurement, operational reviews and cost analysis, business planning and feasibility studies, monitoring  and evaluation, surveys and market research. The role holder will report to the leader (through the Senior  Manager) of the Advisory Consulting line of Service. We are keen to discuss this opportunity with a results driven professional with at least five years of relevant work experience in a consulting environment. 

Experience

At least 5 years experience in a combination of the following areas: Financial Management, Procurement, Development Management and General Consulting , in a professional services environment.

 Requirements:

• Be a graduate in relevant field with a Bachelors and Masters Qualifications (in the areas of business/accounting/finance/procurement/development management)
• Team player with skills and experience in working on diverse projects and with multi cultural teams.

• Posesses strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
• Have well developed interpersonal skills
• Undertake business development through active indentification of leads, conversion of leads to contracted engagements.
• Have experience of writing expressions of interest and proposals
• Be computer literate , should be conversant with Microsoft Word, Excell and Powerpoint
• Be highly motivated and a self starter with good time management skills
• Be proactive, flexible and able to meet deadlines
• Be able to demonstrate ability to coach and mentor junior staff and project teams.
