The Community Engagement Specialist will lead project activities related to family and community engagement in early grade reading within the target districts, mobilizing support from stakeholders including Parent Teacher Associations (PTA), School Management Committees (SMCs), and community-based organizations. S/he will design and support assessments and specific activities that increase community actors' ability to contribute to and monitor the quality of reading instruction. In addition, s/he will support the MoEVT and program partners in orientation and training for the expansion of community mobilization efforts into additional districts.
Qualifications: A master's degree in education or a related field. Six years of relevant field experience in educational development, with specific experience working directly with community actors including Parent Teacher Associations, School Management Committees, community-based organizations and other stakeholders to increase engagement and quality of primary education programs.
