The Role
Based in Tanzania and reporting to the Senior Projects Manager the client is looking to appoint an experienced Construction Manager on a permanent basis with immediate effect. The successful applicant will have a hands on approach and be responsible for the performance of the awarded projects ensuring deadlines are met.
Your Key Duties Will Include
-Technical supervision of construction ensuring project objectives are met
-Ensuring projects and performance adhere to company standards and policies
-Cost control and project cash flow management
-Completing work within the time, budget and cash targets
-Managing, supervising and training your team
-Risk assessment
-Assuring quality control
Desired Skills and Experience
Suitable Applicants
Ideally with a Degree in Civil engineering or similar, suitable applicants will have 10+ years' experience; with at least 6 in construction management in the building and civil works construction industry. Experience will be of large scale factory, warehousing (Pre-fab), and special facilities in nature.
Experience working in the Middle East or Europe for a Multi-national company is desirable.
