Water Utility Experts

AECOM International Development is seeking multiple short- and long-term water utility experts for an anticipated USAID-funded project in Jordan to improve accountable, sustainable water sector management and governance. Water utility experts who apply should demonstrate proven experience in the following areas:

• Water system operation and maintenance
• Water utility performance monitoring/benchmarking and utility regulation
• Reduction of technical or administrative non-revenue water
• Strategic and/or business planning
• Corporatization and institutional/organizational strengthening
• Capacity building/certification
• Financial/asset management

Requirements:

• 10 years or experience in water utility management
• Master's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant academic qualification and work experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent English required
• Experience with donor-funded projects and specifically with USAID preferred
• Experience working in the water utility sector in Jordan or the Middle East preferred
