Sr. Mechanic with Diamond Motors Ltd in North Mara, Tanzania.
The candidates should be from Mining or should have relevant experience of Mining Operations. The work experience should be more than 5 years.
Role & Responsibilities- Sr. Mechanic
Your role and responsibilities are mentioned below:
1. To maintain, service and repair all equipments associated with the site machinery;
according to OEM standards and guidelines.
2. To recommend spare parts holding based on anticipated consumption.
3. To inspect the equipments daily and report any finding and suggested corrective
actions.
4. To collect and arrange samples for the regular testing and analysis of fuel/Oil and
report on any discrepancies to manufacturers specifications.
5. To institute preventive measure / actions to safeguard the performance and
longevity of all equipments and report accordingly.
6. To report technical analysis on premature failures of parts and components.
7. To be proactive and institute a culture with the team of preventive maintenance.
8. To work and cause others in the team to work in accordance with company's health,
safety and environment policies.
9. Improve profitability through enhanced customer care.
10. Do other tasks/duties assigned by the head of department/management from time to time
Experience required:
• 5 Years and above
• Should be from the mining industry or Mining Operations
