Part time – 50% of full time, fixed term for 24 months
You will provide high quality advice and support to students within the School in relation to the development of transferable skills and work placement opportunities. This will include promoting the full range of opportunities available to students to ensure they maximise their transferable and analytical capabilities through a process of personal development and career planning.
You will liaise with academic and administrative staff, relevant university offices (particularly the Careers Centre and the Alumni Office) and will interact with the student body within the School. Your role will also include the establishment of contacts with a range of placement providers. This will require a proactive approach to developing new opportunities and building partnerships to deliver increased opportunities with a wide range of partners capable of offering placements, work experience and internships to students.
You should be Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have in-depth experience of working within a commercial, professional or educational setting with a demonstrable ability to communicate effectively across these sectors.
