Job description 
As our present Business Controller Dina Mendez has accepted the position of Business Controller, MR México, we are looking for her successor.Reporting to the General Manager, you will play the pivotal role in the control and guidance of our Company's financial results, including forecasting and analysis and providing support to the General Manager in making effective business decisions. Building strong working partnerships throughout the business is key in this role, as is creating accurate, relevant and timely business and financial analysis and using this information to support management in making effective business decisions. You will be an important speaking partner and advisor for the Business Line Managers to support them to develop their businesses. Together with your management accountant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing accounting policies, controls and procedures.You will ensure the submission of financial and management reports conforms to Group practices and procedures and deliver financial and operation reporting to your management team colleagues, government and other external requirements. In addition, you will manage the relationship with ACBS to maximize automation of processes and reduce functional costs.

Mission 
Be a valued and expert contributing partner and advisor for senior managers to accelerate growth in their business, delivering cash management planning and reporting. Work with company management in developing strategies and processes to achieve goals and targets.Control the consolidated financial performance of the company and make sure that the financial reporting and accounting practices are fully in line with FAM and local legal rules.Provide excellent tools and analysis to the management to support our ambitious targets for Cash flow, profitability and growth.Provide leadership and management to the Credit Control team, maintain and further improve the collection period and lower overdue receivables.Safeguard internal controls in order to protect the company assets, control the financial performance of the company and ensure that financial reporting and accounting matters are in accordance with 'The Way We Do Things' and local statutory accounting practice.Communicate with Business Line Managers on relevant issues, building cooperative relationships and provide additional support as required to resolve issues and deliver process improvement in a spirit of teamwork.To be proactive, raising and problem solving any red flags, ensuring that action plans are followed through. Establish internal control procedures and ensure that good controls are tested and functioning properly.· Your responsibilities will include:· Accounting and reporting · Ensure reconciliation of the general ledger with the sub-ledger and/or other supporting documentation is completed on a monthly basis· Internal control· Cash Management· Management and direct supervision of the credit control team· Assets Management, inventories, receivables and others· Assist the management members in operational reviews and local audits· Management of the external audit process including schedule preparation and final reporting· Creation and follow up of investment proposals· Prepare necessary information for Business Review and Board meetings and management of the relationship with ACBS team

Experience requirements 
· Must have a solid knowledge and 5 years' experience in Finance and Controlling, administration procedures and information systems· Business oriented and proven communication and organizational skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels· Has a genuine interest in all aspects of the business operation and an ability to lead projects in the area of business control.· Sound business analysis and risk management· Working with Information Systems including Lotus Notes, MS Office etc. · Familiar with Group accounting principles (The Way....) , FAM reporting, IFRS rules and Mexican statutory accounting principles.

Knowledge 
· Fluency in English and Spanish, or the ability to learn Spanish quickly, is essential.· Knowledge of FAM (The Way…)· Familiar with Group accounting principles and local statutory rules

Educational requirements 
· University Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or similar academic background.

Your high level of communication and negotiating skills will help you in dealing with all the stakeholders in the business. You will also have the ability to prioritize in order to satisfy all of the demands placed upon you by internal and external customers.
