JOB TITLE: LOGISTICS AND PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Advans Bank Tanzania seeks to recruit Logistics and Procurement Manager (reference LOG/MAR15) The Logistics and Procurement Manager is responsible the proper functioning of the logistics and procurement department of the bank, reporting directly to the CFO of the bank. This department is supporting all units of the bank in terms of procurement needs, maintenance, physical expansion and security.

Key responsibilities
The logistics and Procurement Manager is responsible for:
• Maintenance and repairs of the asserts of the bank
• Responsible for budget preparation and budget compliance
• Potential branch location identification, negotiation and monitoring of construction
• Negotiations with suppliers and ensuring adequate supply of the goods and services needed by the bank in full respect of the procurement policies and the budget
• Keep policies and procedures of the logistics department up to date
• Extending an adequate and timely logistical support to all Advans Bank Tanzania's units/staff and visitors
• Ensure security of the bank branches, following up on problems that may arise, and liaising with the external security company
• Managing staff (admin & procurement officers, drivers, cleaners) of the department

Profile
• At least 2 to 5 years working experience preferably in a similar position
• University degree required preferably in the area of interest
• Honest, transparent and communicative
• Experience and ability to monitor office renovation I implementation preferably in the financial sector
• Ability to meet deadlines in selection, purchase, delivery and maintenance or storage of all fixed assets or consumable goods needed by the company
• Ability to negotiate and assess best offers in order to respect budgeting specifications
• Ability to ensure a clear, transparent and accurate documentation about purchase process, inventory, selection and refurbishment of premises
• Training and coaching skills in relations with supervisees
• Writing and conceptual skills (procedures, instructions, formats)
• Good command of the use of standard office software packages.
The position requires perfect English and Kiswahili proficiency, good computer skills and a real motivation to work and grow in a challenging context.
